
☕I love coffee & tea♡ Iced & hot, & many different kinds 🙂 BUT here is an important reminder that its not healthy to use drinks like coffee to “feel full”. Having real & nutritious food when your body tells you you’re hungry is healthy.
☕When I was struggling more, I would have water or make a coffee/tea instead of a meal/snack when I was hungry. This is very unhealthy physically & mentally. It can lead to problems with an individual’s mentality around food. Your body will learn to feel it can’t trust you. This could lead to unhealthy weight loss, or cause normal body systems to shut down. I would feel fatigued in my day-to-day life as I continued to restrict myself… like spending time with my family/friends, low energy for running/training, & trouble paying attention in classes.
☕I have a healthy relationship with coffee/tea again. It’s important to honor when our body needs real nutrients. Remember it’s okay to enjoy coffee/tea & your other favorite drinks, but they’re not a meal replacement. Comment your favorite coffee/tea recipe/order below
