• The way we perceive ourselves is so important. Learning to treat yourself with the same kindness and love that you would treat someone else with can be difficult. But with practice & time you can get there. I used to compare myself to other girls all the time. I’d be on the starting line for my cross country or track race and only be thinking about what I looked like. I’d try to fit this certain look & restrict things in my life. This only leads to negative body image and a distorted version of what health is.

• I’ve been able to grow & realize that exercise & health looks different to every person. To find a balance & what works for you is important when learning to respect your body & mind. I hope that you practice treating yourself with kindness, moving & nourishing your body, spending time with people you love, & finding a balance in your life. 🏃🏼‍♀️🦋🫶🏼🌱
