• As my miles increase for marathon training, the mental aspect is becoming more challenging. Physically, I feel some fatigue which I’m navigating to avoid with proper rest and recovery tools. But the mental aspect is a whole other battle.

• I’ve been reminding myself why I signed up for a marathon. I’ve wanted to run one for so long & after running four half marathons I felt it was time for the next challenge. Training has always been something I love to do & choosing to believe in myself will be crucial.

• I’m working on the mindset shift of feeling blessed for the ability to sign up for a marathon. To thank my body for allowing me to put in these long miles & hard gym sessions. And trusting the process along the way no matter how physically or mentally challenging. Never count yourself out & if you’re scared to do something you probably just need to get out of your head. 🏃🏼‍♀️🫶🏼🦋💪🏼
