~september days~

• September seems to be the in between month. Some people lean into summer and others lean into fall. (I’m a fall girly 🧡) The leaves are starting to color, but there is still green. The sun is starting to get colder, but there’s a warmth to it. Days are getting shorter, but afternoon light still lingers. The breeze sends the aroma of fallen leaves, but still has traces of flowers.

• Sometimes, these in between feelings happen in life too. Maybe you’re at a crossroads with jobs. Or you’re in the middle of moving. Perhaps trying to figure out what you’re doing next. It can feel unnerving not to have a clear answer. But that’s the beauty of seasons, there are periods of change but once it does, the beauty is remarkable!

• Take it day by day. Enjoy where you are. The next season will come when it’s ready. Cheers to September friends. Even though I am VERY excited for fall. 🤭🍂🧡 AND I love how this picture in a small town near me looks like the gazebo in Gilmore Girls!
