~endings & beginnings~

~ Leaving December and entering January. Leaving 2024 and entering 2025. Whether it was a good or a bad year, reflection is inevitable. 2024 was one of my favorite years yet, and I was a little nervous to leave it. But at the same time, I love new beginnings and setting goals for the year to come.

• New beginnings can be scary, especially when things are comfortable. But think about it this way… you have a favorite song for a while and replay it over and over again, eventually you stop listening to it because it’s been overplayed. Or you have a favorite movie that you re-watch too many times in a row. But the next time you hear the song or watch the movie after time has passed, you have this comfort and nostalgia.

• This is similar to life. If we replayed the same year of our life over and over, never changing or learning, life would be monotonous. So we grow and have new experiences. This way when we look back at pictures or talk about our experience with people, a beautiful memory is formed.

• I hope 2024 was a year that helped you grow. I hope your 2025 is full of opportunity & experiences. Love you friends. ✨🤍
