
β’ Hi friends. I’ve been more stressed & out of sorts than usual lately. In a way I can’t really describe which is even more isolating. I wanted to share some daily tips that help me get out of a negative headspace & hopefully they’ll help you too. π
β’ First, I pick movement that makes me feel good. In my case I go on a run & listen to a podcast. & cool down with yoga. πββοΈ
β’ Second, I’ll shower & do some self-care things, like face masks and exfoliating. It is really refreshing & calming. π§Ό
β’ Third, I’ll read my book or start writing my own. This let’s me escape reality for a little while. π
β’ Fourth, I make sure I spend time with both myself & my family & friends. But it’s important to know the people we keep in our life should be healthy & supportive relationships. π€
Fifth, hydration & healthy nutrients. I’ll cook/bake balanced foods. Which is stress-relieving & something to enjoy. π₯£
β’ The mind is a complex system & we can’t always control how it makes us feel. But we can control how we respond. Hopefully some of these tips will help you if you’re feeling down. I’d love to hear your tips if you have any too! Sending hugs & hope your body & mind are feeling happy. π
