
• It can be easy to view yourself negatively. Maybe it’s something you’ve always done without realizing it. But it’s time for that to change. You cannot fully be present in any relationship, career, or goal if you do not first take care of the person working on them… YOU!
• How to prioritize yourself:
♀️ Mindful movement! Exercise & move your body in a way that aligns with your goals. Whether it’s running, walking, strength training, bike riding, yoga, etc. Find a sustainable way to keep your body active.
Real nourishment! Providing your body with the proper amount of fuel that allows you to feel your best. You can do this by balancing macro & micro nutrients by cooking a variety of dishes that include a variety of food groups. AND LOTS OF WATER!!!
律♀️ Sleep & recovery! Getting enough rest is KEY! 7-10 seems like the range for most adults but this number varies. Recovery also means stretching, reading, and maybe even some meditation/journaling if that’s something that brings you calm.
Enjoyment! Spend time doing things you love. Whether this is on your own or with someone. Maybe it’s getting a coffee with a friend, reading a good book, listening to music outside, or cooking a new recipe. Whatever your hobby is, do it!!!
Clean space! A good shower & a clean environment are so important. When you and the things around you are fresh & organized, your mind will follow.
